Ammonium Hexa-uranate, (NH4)2U6O19.10H2O, separates as a yellow microcrystalline powder when an aqueous solution of ammonium uranyl acetate is boiled for a considerable time. The compound decomposes on heating, yielding ammonia and the green oxide.
