Uranyl Pyrosulphate, UO2S2O7
Uranyl Pyrosulphate, UO2S2O7, may be prepared by adding liquid sulphur trioxide to a solution of anhydrous uranyl sulphate in concentrated sulphuric acid. It separates in small, yellow, fluorescent crystals which are very hygroscopic.
