Barium Peruranates

Barium Peruranates: (i) (BaO₂)₂.UO₄.8H₂O is obtained by double decomposition of the sodium salt with barium chloride, it is an orange-coloured crystalline powder. (ii) BaO₂.(UO₄)₂.9H₂O is obtained in the same way from ammonium peruranate solutions as a yellow flocculent precipitate.
