Uranyl Selenide, UO2Se
Uranyl Selenide, UO2Se, is prepared by heating together selenium (7 parts), potassium cyanide (5 parts), and urano-uranic oxide (1 part) at a low red heat. It yields black hexagonal prisms with a metallic lustre. It is readily decomposed by acids.
